A fast boat trip to the base of a huge sand dune, a boogie board and as long as you like to sandboard to your hearts content! GOOT Passport holders get 10% Off - Take the correct change to the boat to get the discount... $18 cash only.

Sandboarding or Dune Surfing basically requires you to climb the slope (some start half way up) then lie down on the board and speed your way down into the water. It's really quite easy and - all you need is the guts to push yourself off the first time!

Don’t worry if it’s raining, Pete operates in all seasons and you'll just go faster on wet sand.

There's not really much you need to take except:
  • Your swimming gear (expect to slide into the water)
  • You might want a shirt to wear
  • Take a camera and get some great shots!

If you have thighs that can climb up sand, I’d give it a 9 out of 10.

The sandboarding was really fun because it was novel and it was cool to go down a sand dune on your stomach, and it was really cool to shoot out on to the water during high tide.

 1. Sandboarding is hard work, but fun!

The walk back up was hard, but the rush of going down was worth it.
