The delightfully picturesque bush-clad hills and valleys of
Coroglen hide a colourful pioneering history. Giant Kauri once
stood here, gold-miners and Gum-diggers prospered amidst these
hills. Today you can ride through this beautiful and historic
landscape from Rangihau Ranch. One of 30 well conditioned trek
horses will take you up the original packhorse trail of the
1800`s , known as the `Gentle Annie`, into the Coromandel Ranges
to view some of the most spectacular scenery on the Peninsula.
Your ride will take you across rugged ranges, rolling farmland
and through native bush while Whitianga Harbour sparkles in
the distance.
There are horses to suit all abilities. Open all year, weather
